All ages!
We pride ourselves on being a family friendly club and encourage all ages to join - young or old!
Our club is made up of retirees, students, international travellers, experienced jewellers, hobbyists and families. We welcome and invite all to our club whatever the level of skill or knowledge.
What are the costs?
Our fees
The annual membership fee is $50 per adult, which is renewed each financial year on the 1st of July*. Membership fees include all children under 18 years old, at no additional charge.
Workshop fees are $5 per session for singles or $7 for families (per Adult and 1 child. $2 for each extra child).
Various materials are available for members to work with priced from as little as $1.
All fees can be paid via cash or eftpos.
*Please Note: we don't offer pro-rata fees or discounts if you join later in the financial year. However, if you sign up after mid-May, your membership fee will roll over into the next financial year automatically.
What do I need to get started?
A keen attitude
We recommend you wear comfortable old clothing to begin with.
It is an OH&S requirement that sensible closed-toe footwear be worn on the premises, as well as eye and ear protection while operating our machinery - we reserve the right to refuse operation of our equipment if members do not comply.
A complimentary set of earplugs and safety glasses will be provided when you become a member.
